A nineteen (19) year old lady and a Junior High School graduate from the Upper West Region, who was diagnosed of a bilateral virginal breast hyperplasia, a disease that increased the size of her breasts, was supported to receive treatment at the Plastic Surgery Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. According to doctors, she had developed a juvenile gigantomastia, a condition which makes people develop extremely large breast tissue.

Plastic surgeons at the Hospital embarked on a bilateral breast amputation with free nipple graft for her at a fee of GH¢9,000.00. Aside from the hospital bills, the Foundation provided accommodation for her and her caretaker until she received full treatment.
