Mr. Akulugu Apelege was involved in a fatal accident in 2012 on the Accra Kumasi road whiles driving the vehicle as a commercial driver. He lost his left leg during the accident. After he was discharged from the hospital he was unable to purchase an artificial leg which will aid him in walking. He approached the Foundation and was supported to undergo the rehabilitation at St. Martin’s Orthopedic Center, Nsawam for an artificial leg.
