Esther complained of constant headaches and was sent to the hospital of which she was referred to the Korle-bu teaching hospital. At Korle-bu the diagnostics indicated that she has developed brain tumour and has to undergo surgery. The total bill was almost GH40,000 cedis of which they have been able to mobilize part. They visited the Foundation for support and they were supported with an amount of GH20,000 cedis. The surgery was successfully conducted at the Neurosurgical Department, korle-bu Teaching hospital.
